Welcome back!  We'll be discussing our up coming year, handing out new membership packets.

October 20, 2009
Threads, Tension and Needles: Cathy Racine, Charlton Sewing Center MA.  Cathy will be delivering a lecture on the different threads, needles  and tension settings for our sewing machines.  Charlton Sewing Center will be vending specialty threads, and sewing machine accessories.

November 17, 2009
Pat is the area Sales Rep from our biggest quilting supply warehouse.  He will be explaining the process of how fabric goes from the manufacturing stage, to the shelves of a quilt shop.  He will be demonstrating new products, and answering questions.  This should be a fun meeting with freebies!

Meeting to be held at Quilters Corner, 312 Danbury Rd, New Milford, CT.
860 355 451.  We will have refreshments, games, time to shop and visit with each other.  We are also asking everyone to bring a quilted pot holder to exchange.  Don't forget to wrap it!

This is a hands on demonstration where we will be making buttons for embellishing our quilting projects.

Crazy Quilts, Deb ??? from Kent CT, will be talking about crazy quilt construction and embellishing techniques.  She'll be talking about designs, stitches and materials to used to make crazy quilts.
